The dial is a hand sanded piece of Fordite. Fordite, also known as "Detroit agate," is a captivating material originating from layers of cured paint overspray within automotive plants. Its allure rests in the distinct, multicolored swirls and patterns, narrating the story of mid-20th century automotive craftsmanship. Each piece of Fordite is a unique work of art, celebrating the intersection of art and industry, making it a sought-after gemstone-like material.
And for this one of one piece, it features a beautiful piece of Fordite made from layers of Jeep car paint over spray. Each layer builds with metallic shine to create this unique watch that should be on your wrist.
The watch is 47mm lug to lug, has a 20mm stainless steel bracelet that can be resized by removing links with a push style link removal tool or by a jewelry store for a small fee. It also features an upgraded rotor if you find the time to look at it as well. The watch is powered by a Seiko NH38 that has been regulated to keep the watch ticking accurately.

Every watch is fully handcrafted. We make watches out of ‘Detroit Agate’ or commonly referred to as Fordite. Each of these watches represent so many layers of time.
This watch is as captivating as it is simple, and as breathtaking as it is complex. What I mean by this is this watch makes no sense. This intricate pattern is made from specifically layers of spray paint, which results in significantly more colorful and chaotic patterning. While some patterns are complicated, above all the watch stands tall on its own, proud and captivating.
